Pre-assembly and installation of the new BMA-supplied bridge and mounting stools, including the integration of new pipework, structural brackets, cable trays and retained equipment. All works were carefully coordinated to ensure structural integrity, alignment accuracy and seamless connection to existing infrastructure.
Safe removal of all existing mechanical and electrical components, fixtures, piping and feed well assemblies from the original bridge structure. This process was executed in a controlled manner to facilitate safe decommissioning and minimise disruption to surrounding operations.
Supply and installation of new pipes, valves, cabling and fixtures where existing components were unsuitable for reuse. All replacements were selected and installed to meet updated operational, safety and compliance requirements.
Provision of scaffold systems and engineered temporary support frames to enable safe access and structural stability throughout the project. All temporary works were designed and installed in accordance with site safety standards and project specifications.
On-site commissioning assistance to support testing, verification and operational readiness of newly installed systems. Our team worked collaboratively with client representatives to ensure smooth transition from installation to live operation.
With the support of our subcontractors and a dedicated Walz crew, all works were completed without incident and the coal thickener bridge was back online as per the schedule.
